Thought I'd start a page for all those that want updates of everything. So my latest comments come first:

07 Apr 06 - So here we are, I now an old married man! The wedding went really well a couple of little things were wrong, one being the minister calling me Jack at the start of the ceremony :-) New York was busy as usual and was made better by having other people there to share it - so much better than my first ever visit where I was on my own. See elswhere on the website for updates on the wedding and for photos.

The house has moved nowhere while we've been away, still waiting for the letter to say we're allowed to install a waste tank in the field. We're also waiting on the detailed quote for the build so we can sort the mortgage. We still hope to start in May though.

07 Mar 06 - What a few weeks, we got our building warrant, the builder hopes to start in May. Wendy has had bad news about her back, that means we've had to postpone the reception and honeymoon. The wedding is still going ahead and everything seems to be ticking along, all we need to do is come up with some vows!!!

17 Feb 06 - Well it's Friday and what a week, our building warrant should have been issued on Monday (not seen it yet though), we had an email from the wedding planner saying that she'd like to feature our wedding for a US tv show. And to end the week we finally managed to figure out a date and place for the party (6th May). We even got a wedding list sorted at John Lewis so it's off with a bar code gun to do the Will and Grace thing.

7 Feb 06 - So to start with I managed to loosen myself off at pilates last night then fall in a hole in the pavement on the way home and now I'm limping from my ankle and yelling in pain from my back.

What else is happening, well my letter to the head of Planning at South Lanarkshire Council to celebrate 11 months since handing in our application, should have arrived yesterday, obviously there has been no contact from them as per usual.

The wedding planner has sent pictures of the things she has been buying to decorate the reception. I don't think she sleeps at all as we get emails all through the night.
